Gregory Wanless is a Professor at Queen's University's Dan School of Drama and Music within the Faculty of Arts and Science. He has been teaching since 1982, specializing in theater direction and drama education. Wanless served as Artistic Director (1982–2012) and General Manager (1982–2010) of the Thousand Islands Playhouse, leading its expansion from 3 plays/season to 7 productions across two theaters, now hosting over 44,000 attendees annually. He spearheaded the Firehall Theatre renovation (2004) and oversees the Playhouse's Young Company program, which tours schools and communities.
