Gregory Rowangould

Gregory Rowangould is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont (UVM) and Director of the Transportation Research Center. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and prior academic roles include Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico and Science Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). His research focuses on transportation systems modeling, policy evaluation, air quality analysis, and equity in small/rural communities. Dr. Rowangould's work addresses climate change mitigation, sustainable infrastructure, and public health through interdisciplinary approaches. He teaches courses on transportation engineering, planning, and policy at UVM.
