Gregory R. Sivakoff

Gregory R. Sivakoff serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta, focusing on multi-wavelength observations of compact objects including white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes. His research specializes in X-ray binaries where neutron stars or black holes accrete material from donor stars.

His work spans the entire electromagnetic spectrum beyond X-ray emissions, investigating accretion dynamics in binary systems. Dr. Sivakoff also maintains active commitments to Education and Public Outreach initiatives within the astronomical community.
