Gregory Nash serves as Discipline Leader of Enabling and Engagement Education and Program Leader of the Tertiary Preparation Pathway at the University of the Sunshine Coast's School of Education and Tertiary Access. He holds the academic rank of Senior Lecturer with formal qualifications including a DCA and BA(Hons) in Creative Writing from the same institution.
His research centers on critical transitions in higher education, specifically examining stressors faced by contemporary university students, innovative assessment approaches, and pathways for underrepresented cohorts. Key contributions include textbook authorship and conference presentations addressing the first-year student experience and tertiary access frameworks.
Nash has coordinated over 25 courses at UniSC, most notably Australia's largest face-to-face course (COR109 Communication and Thought) for a decade. During this period, he trained 50+ teaching staff and introduced university study to more than 32,000 first-year students.
