Gregory Gullette

Dr. Gregory Gullette serves as a Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Georgia Gwinnett College, where he conducts ethnographic research across Costa Rica, Mexico, New Zealand, Thailand, and the United States. His work centers on environmental anthropology with a focus on development, migration, and political ecology.

His research interests explore how social systems are structured by inequalities, political-economic power differentials, and environmental conflicts. Key areas include:
