Gregory G. Dess is the Andrew R. Cecil Chair in Applied Ethics and Professor of Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. He serves as Area Coordinator for Organizational Strategy & International Management and holds a PhD from the University of Washington (1980), MBA from Georgia State University (1976), and BS from Georgia Tech (1971).
His research explores how firms create value through multidisciplinary approaches, focusing on strategic management, entrepreneurship, knowledge management, and social networks. His influential work on entrepreneurial behavior-performance relationships has been cited over 2,700 times.
