Gregory Fry

Gregory Fry is a Hedley Bull Fellow and Director of Graduate Studies in International Affairs at The Australian National University (ANU). He holds dual affiliations with the Department of International Relations and the Department of Pacific Affairs within the School of International, Political & Strategic Studies. Since 1975, he has focused on the international politics of the Southwest Pacific, teaching courses on International Relations Theory, World Politics, and Pacific themes. His career includes roles such as Director of Graduate Studies (1988–2009) and visiting appointments at the University of Hawaii, University of the South Pacific, and the International Peace Research Institute in Oslo.

Research Interests: His work centers on the international politics of the South Pacific, regional and national governance, conflict resolution in Pacific island states, and Australia's relations with the Pacific region.
