Gregory E. Simco is an Associate Dean/Chair and Professor in the Department of Computing at Nova Southeastern University's College of Computing & Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Florida.

His research focuses on survivable/dependable distributed systems, including architecture, design, performance evaluation, operating systems, and network security. He contributes to the Florida Lambda Rail project and the Secure and Robust Distributed Systems initiative at NSU's Center of Excellence in Information Assurance. Dr. Simco teaches graduate-level courses in operating systems, mobile computing, distributed systems, and data communication.
Previously, he led teams at IBM on OS/2 and Workplace OS kernel/file systems and served as Director of Systems Software for the Panda Project.
