Gregory Brown is the Van and Kay Weatherspoon Distinguished Professor of Finance at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. His research focuses on alternative investments, including hedge funds and private equity, financial risk management, and derivatives. He founded the Institute for Private Capital and serves on the board of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association.
