Greg Smith is a Professor in the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts, University of Manitoba. He currently serves as Vice-Provost (Academic Planning & Programs) and previously held the position of Associate Dean of Arts.

His current research focuses on the first institutions for the punishment and reform of criminal or delinquent children in Britain. He is currently accepting graduate students for both Master's and PhD programs.
