Greg Pragel

Greg Pragel is a Lecturer in Acting at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point (UWSP), combining his extensive professional career as an actor, director, fight director, voice-over artist, and teaching artist. He holds a BFA in Theatre Studies from Niagara University and completed a 3-year conservatory program at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City.

• Active in Off-Broadway productions, regional theaters, and Shakespearean troupes like Hamlet Isn’t Dead;
• Currently represented by Dreamteam Talent in Chicago and New York;
• Co-star role in NBC’s Chicago Fire;
• Specializes in movement training, voice, and combat choreography;
• Relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin after a decade in NYC due to the pandemic.

His research interests align with practical theatre disciplines, emphasizing actor training, physical storytelling, and classical text interpretation. Greg remains deeply engaged in the arts as both a performer and educator.
