Greg Payton

Greg Payton is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship at Rowan University's School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He coordinates the Startup Opportunity Fund and serves as CEO Faculty Advisor. With over two decades of experience in technology and innovation, his work emphasizes empowering underserved communities through entrepreneurial programs.

His research focuses on inclusive entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, and community impact initiatives. He actively develops mentorship frameworks and funding pipelines for underrepresented student founders.

Professor Payton has received multiple honors including the 2023 Innovation in Teaching Award and the 2018 Tech Impact Community Award for his work supporting marginalized businesses.
