Greg Allen

Professor Greg Allen is a faculty member at the University of Exeter, supporting the Business School, Medical School, and broader university through real-world board-level and governance expertise. His work bridges academic delivery, research, and external business engagement.

Educational Background:

• BA(Hons) from Loughborough University (1989-1992)
• MA from the University of Plymouth (2005-2008)
• PGCE (QTS) from the Open University (1997-1998)

Greg’s research and professional focus lies in board leadership, governance, finance, and risk assurance, particularly in the charity sector. He also explores leadership agility in volatile environments, digital transformation, and the intersection of business and environmental responsibility. His career spans over 30 years, integrating commercial, public, and academic sectors.
