Greer Ellison is a Lecturer in the Department of Music at Stanford University, based at the Braun Music Center. She has held roles as Principal/Solo Flutist with the Portland Baroque Orchestra (10 years) and California Symphony (20 years), and performed with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and NYC’s Poetica Musica in Peru. Her professional career spans 4 decades of orchestral performance and solo recitals.

- Solo Diploma from Koninklijk Conservatorium, The Hague
Teaching & Technique: Certified in G.B. Alexander Technique through American Society for the Alexander Technique. Studied with prominent flutists (Robert Willoughby, Frans Vester, Barthold Kuijken) and modern pedagogues (George Lister). Active in master class instruction at National Flute Association conventions.
Recordings: Released Conversations Galantes featuring works by Louis-Gabriel Guillemain with Ensemble Mirable. Specializes in Baroque flute repertoire.
