Greenfield Haskel is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Manitoba, where he has worked since 1989. He also holds an adjunct position at Macquarie University (2021-present). As a zoarchaeologist, his work focuses on the evolution of early human societies, metallurgy, and domestication. He co-founded the Near Eastern and Biblical Archaeology Lab and coordinates the Judaic Studies Program.
