Gray Langston

Gray Langston is a Visiting Professor in the World Languages Department at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith (UAFS), where she has been actively involved in teaching Spanish for over 50 years. She previously served as an adjunct faculty member at UAFS after retiring from public schools in 2011.

Her research and teaching focus on Spanish language education, heritage speakers, and community engagement. She works closely with the Hispanic community in Fort Smith through the G.E.M. program and summer initiatives in Guatemala.

Langston received the 2022 Award of Excellence as an adjunct teacher at UAFS. She actively participates in recruitment events and bridges academic programs with community needs through language education.
