Dr Grant Martin is a Researcher affiliated with both Rhodes University and the University of the Free State (UFS). As Deputy Director of the Centre for Biological Control at Rhodes University, a South African centre of excellence, he leads initiatives in invasive species management. He is also associated with the Department of Zoology and Entomology at UFS.
- Research Focus: High elevation invasive species, GIS applications, biological control of weeds, and abiotic/biotic drivers of invasions.
- Projects: Leading the biological control program against Sagittaria platyphylla (Delta Arrowhead) and researching invasive grasses and freshwater management in South Africa.
