Graham Worthy is Pegasus Professor, Provost's Distinguished Research Professor, and Hubbs-SeaWorld Endowed Professor of Marine Mammalogy at University of Central Florida. He directs the Physiological Ecology and Bioenergetics Lab and founded the Sustainable Coastal Systems cluster that evolved into the National Center for Integrated Coastal Research.
Research examines marine ecosystem function through physiological ecology studies of marine mammals, focusing on energetics, nutrition, and responses to environmental change. Recent work quantifies metabolic demands of manatees and dolphins.
