Dr. Graeme Davis is an Honorary Reader at the University of St Andrews' School of English and holds positions as a lecturer at the Open University and Professorial Research Fellow at the University of Buckingham. He earned both his MA and PhD from the University of St Andrews.
His research spans Old English, Old Icelandic, and Old High German syntax; Medieval Literature and History; Lexicography; English Dialectology; and Academic English pedagogy. Additionally, he contributes to archaeological research, particularly at the Mesolithic site of Blick Mead near Stonehenge, with focus on British Isles Prehistory and Anglo-Saxon/Viking sites.
As series editor for Peter Lang Academic Publishers, he oversees monograph series in Contemporary Linguistics, Historical Linguistics, Stylistics, Archaeology, and Education. He mentors early-career academics in monograph publication and serves as journal editor for the Buckingham Journal of Language and Linguistics.
