Grace Wright

Grace Wright serves as the Director of Sustainability for Colorado State University's College of Business and Co-Chair of CSU's President's Sustainability Commission (PSC), holding faculty positions since 2014. She is a core member of the College's leadership team driving initiatives under the 'Business for a Better World' framework.

Her academic background includes a Political Science degree from the University of Denver and an MBA from CSU's Impact MBA program (formerly Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA).

Wright's professional focus integrates sustainability into business education and practice through corporate partnerships, curriculum development, and campus-wide initiatives. She spearheads efforts toward CSU's environmental targets including 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2040, with emphasis on climate action planning, resource management, and sustainable entrepreneurship education.

Wright manages significant student development programs including the Corporate Sustainability Fellowship Program (BUS 687) which placed 175 Impact MBA students in corporate roles as of Summer 2025, and Pollution Prevention Fellowships through EPA/CDPHE grants. She mentors students through the Sustainable Business Club and previously served as Faculty Mentor for the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA program.

Her leadership extends to chairing the PSC Academic & Research Subcommittee and College of Business Green Team, while serving on the CSU Climate Initiative Advisory Board and School of Global Environmental Sustainability Curriculum Committee to advance interdisciplinary sustainability efforts.
