Dr. Grace Wang is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Psychology and Wellbeing. Her research examines the complex relationships between addiction, mental health, and cognitive functioning through interdisciplinary approaches integrating neuroscience, psychology, and computational methods.
Current projects investigate cognitive impacts of e-cigarettes, stress mechanisms in addictive behaviors, and machine learning applications for predicting addiction and mental health outcomes. Her work employs neuroimaging, psychopharmacological testing, and computational modeling to advance understanding of addiction pathways and treatment strategies.
Prior to joining UniSQ in 2022, she conducted research at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. Her lab bridges clinical insights with technological innovations to improve mental health interventions and outcomes.
