Gozde Turktarhan

Dr. Gozde Turktarhan is a Lecturer at the University of Chester's Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise, where she serves as Programme Leader for the MSc International Fashion and Retail Marketing. She completed her PhD in 2019 and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of South Florida focusing on smart destinations and tourist behavior.

Her research examines smart tourism applications, destination advocacy, hospitality technologies, and bibliometric analysis in tourism. She employs advanced methodologies including symmetrical and asymmetrical modeling techniques to understand tourism experiences and booking behaviors.

Dr. Turktarhan teaches modules across undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Marketing Project, Tourism Futures, and Destination Management. She has international teaching experience at institutions in Italy, Cyprus, and Taiwan.
