Gordon C. Tucker is a Professor in Biological Sciences at Eastern Illinois University, specializing in vascular plant systematics with a focus on the Cyperaceae (sedge family). As curator of the Stover-Ebinger Herbarium, he combines field botany with academic research and teaching.
- Education: PhD (1985) and MS (1981) in Botany from Duke University.
