Gopika Premsankar

Gopika Premsankar is an Assistant Professor at Aalto University in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering. Her research focuses on Edge Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G Networks, and Wireless Communication.

Her recent work includes applications of Reinforcement Learning for energy efficiency in 5G base stations, Network Optimization in LoRa networks, and Real-time Depth Inpainting for mobile augmented reality. She has published extensively in top-tier journals like IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials.
