Gonzalo Escribano is a Professor of Applied Economics at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) and heads the Energy and Climate Programme at the Elcano Royal Institute. His research focuses on international energy geopolitics, energy security, and the economic impact of energy policies in North Africa and Latin America.
