Gonghu Li

Dr. Gonghu Li is a Professor of Chemistry and Materials Science at UNH's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. His research develops catalytic materials for solar fuel generation through CO2 reduction. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and leads a research group exploring surface chemistry applications in sustainable energy.

Research focuses on molecular catalysts, single-atom catalysts, and spectroscopic characterization of catalytic processes. Recent work emphasizes solar-driven CO2 conversion to fuels.

Honors include the NSF CAREER Award. Dr. Li integrates research with education through STEM workshops and is currently accepting graduate students.
