Dr. Goher Fatima is a Research Fellow (Visiting Fellow) in the Department of Economics at the University of Essex. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kent, an M.Phil from Federal Urdu University, and an MSc from National University of Modern Languages. Her academic appointments include positions as Lecturer at Foundation University Islamabad (2008-2012), Senior Lecturer at Bahria University (2012-2015), Lecturer at Lahore College for Women University (2015-2017), and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kent (2018-2022).
Her research explores Economics with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Gender Economics, Human Capital, and Economic Growth. She investigates behavioral frameworks in entrepreneurial decision-making and comparative analyses of gender inequality in developing economies.
Currently, she teaches the module International Money and Finance (EC368) at the University of Essex.
