Gizeh Rangel-de Lazaro

Dr Gizeh Rangel-de Lazaro is a Senior Lecturer in Museum Studies at the Department of History of Art and Archaeology, SOAS, University of London. She holds a PhD in Quaternary Archaeology and Prehistory from Sorbonne Université, Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (France) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain). Her research focuses on Digital Heritage, Museum Studies, Anthropology, and Bioarchaeology. She has curated exhibitions at institutions like the Natural History Museum (London) and Smithsonian, and is affiliated with ICOM and the Society of American Archaeology (SIG Curatorship). Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to cultural heritage preservation and innovative museum pedagogy. Recent research includes digitization of pre-Columbian crania collections and AI applications in evolutionary morphology.
