Giuseppe Finaldi

Giuseppe Finaldi is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of History at the University of Western Australia. He specializes in modern European history with particular focus on Italy, Britain, and colonialism. His research explores Fascism, Italian colonialism, and the intersection of cinema with historical analysis.

Recent Themes in Articles: His work addresses decolonization trauma, colonial violence, and the complex legacy of Italian imperialism. Recent studies include analyses of the Mogadishu massacre and border conflicts between Mussolini's Italy and Yugoslavia.
