Giuseppe A. Fabrizio is a Research Leader at the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group in Australia. He holds a B.E. and Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His roles include leading the Microwave Radar Systems Science and Technology Capability and the Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems Branch at DST, focusing on radar system development and electronic warfare. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and a textbook on High Frequency Over-the-Horizon Radar.
He has served in multiple leadership roles within IEEE AESS, including President (2018–2019), Executive Vice President, and Distinguished Lecturer (2020–2024).
