Giulio Superti-Furga is a Professor of Medical Systems Biology at the Medical University of Vienna and Scientific Director of CeMM (Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences). He also serves as Scientific Director of Ri.Med in Italy. His roles bridge academia and clinical practice, focusing on integrating genomic and systems biology approaches into medical research and practice.
Trained at the University of Zurich, Genentech Inc., the IMP Vienna, and EMBL Heidelberg, he has co-founded five biotech companies and secured four ERC grants.
