Dr. Giulio Calcara is Associate Head of School - Law and Lecturer at the University of Plymouth's School of Society and Culture. His research focuses on transnational criminal law, human rights, international police cooperation (particularly INTERPOL), and policing in outer space.
He has served as an expert consultant for the European Parliament and Canadian judicial system regarding INTERPOL operations and human rights implications. Calcara's publications on INTERPOL have been cited by international courts including the US Court of Appeals.
