Giulio Ballerini

Giulio Ballerini is a researcher affiliated with the Plasma Physics Laboratory (LPP, UMR7648) at Sorbonne University and École Polytechnique. His work focuses on space plasmas, particularly the magnetopause as a quasi-tangential interface between the magnetosphere and magnetogaine. He is associated with the Space Plasmas team at LPP, contributing to research on plasma dynamics and space instrumentation.

He completed his M2 degree in Plasma and Fusion Physics through a double-degree program between Sorbonne University and Università di Pisa, followed by a PhD thesis on the magnetopause at Sorbonne University under the supervision of Laurence Rezeau, Gérard Belmont, and Francesco Califano. His research intersects with numerical simulation and turbulence analysis in plasma environments.
