Giulia Tanoni

Giulia Tanoni is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, Italy, since February 2024. Her work focuses on computational intelligence techniques for Smart Energy Systems in collaboration with MAC srl. Affiliated with the Department of Information Engineering, she specializes in edge computing, explainable AI, and non-intrusive load monitoring.

Conference Engagement: Active in organizing and presenting at IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence, European Signal Processing Conference, and others. Served as session chair for machine learning and smart grid topics.

Affiliations: IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Young Professionals, and IEEE CIS Task Force on Computational Intelligence in the Energy Domain (CI4E) since 2023.
