Giulia Sabbadini

Dr. Giulia Sabbadini is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. Her research focuses on International Trade, International Migration, Industrial Organization, and Applied Microeconometrics. She holds a PhD in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (2017–2022) and has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Geneva Graduate Institute.

Her work examines the interplay between immigration, trade shocks, and firm resilience. Notable contributions include analyzing how immigrant workers influence firm survival and export performance under increased Chinese import competition. Recent publications explore topics such as trade volatility, firm-level pricing strategies, and the economic implications of移民 employment in global markets.
