Giulia Mantero

Giulia Mantero serves as an Affiliated Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), embedded within the Neuroscience and Smart Materials group of the NSYN@UniGe research center hosted at the University of Genoa. Her work bridges interdisciplinary domains at the convergence of neuroscience and advanced materials development.

Her research focuses on neural interface technologies and bioactive smart materials, exploring how engineered materials can interact with biological neural systems. This includes investigating biomimetic substrates for neural tissue engineering and stimuli-responsive materials for neuroprosthetic applications, positioning her work at the cutting edge of neurotechnology and materials science.
