Giulia La Mattina

Giulia La Mattina is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of South Florida's Department of Economics, with additional affiliations as a Research Fellow at IZA and a Network Member of the HCEO. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University (2013) and B.Sc./M.Sc. degrees in Economics from Bocconi University.

Her research focuses on Development Economics, Labor Economics, Health Economics, and the Economics of the Family, with specific interests in family violence (domestic abuse, child maltreatment), gender inequalities in education/health, child marriage, maternal/child health, and economic demography.
