Gitte Marcusson is a Professor of Flute at the Royal College of Music (RCM) in London, appointed in 2016. A Danish-born musician, she has established herself as a prominent orchestral performer and educator. Her career includes extensive work with orchestras like the National Symphony Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, alongside chamber music collaborations across Europe.
