Gitta Windt is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Georg-August-University Göttingen, Department of Medieval and Modern History. Since 2022, she has worked on the DFG-funded project "Hermitism and the Culture of Solitude in the Medieval Empire, 900-1300" while serving as spokesperson for mid-level faculty in her department.
