Giorgio Testa

Giorgio Testa is a Full Professor of Agronomy and Field Crops at the University of Catania, affiliated with the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A). His research focuses on forage, food, and energy crops, with emphasis on nitrogen fixation, crop physiology, irrigation, and agricultural modeling.

• Graduated in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (2001)
• Ph.D. in Cropped Plant Productivity (2005)

His scientific work spans national and international research projects, contributing to sustainable crop production and yield modeling. He serves as President of the Degree Course in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (L-25) at the University of Catania.
