Dr. Giordano Pula serves as Reader in Cardiovascular Biomedicine at Hull York Medical School, where he is a member of the Centre for Biomedicine and the Biomedical Institute for Multimorbidity. His research investigates platelet and endothelial cell dysfunction in vascular diseases, focusing on oxidative stress mechanisms, platelet-derived microvesicles, and platelet-leukocyte crosstalk in conditions including diabetes, obesity, cancer, and age-related vascular disorders.
