Dr. Ginny Morris is an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Mary Washington's Department of Biological Sciences. Her laboratory investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying myotonic dystrophy type 1, with particular focus on how deregulation of energy metabolism pathways leads to progressive skeletal muscle wasting.
