Dr. Gina Trapp is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and Head of Food and Nutrition Research at the Telethon Kids Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Psychology) with First Class Honours and a PhD in Public Health from UWA. Her roles include leadership in food and nutrition research, with affiliations to the UWA Medical School and the UWA Centre for Child Health Research.

Grants and collaborations span food stress mapping, outdoor advertising impact studies, and improving kids’ meal nutritional quality. Supervised work includes mentoring in public health and nutrition research.
