Gina Martin

Gina Martin serves as Associate Director of TTAC (Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities) at James Madison University's College of Education. She holds an M.Ed. in Special Education and a B.S. in Public Administration, both from JMU. Her expertise focuses on inclusive and evidence-based practices in special education, including classroom management, standards-based IEPs, and specially designed instruction. She teaches courses such as Survey in Emotional Disturbance and previously instructed classes on high-risk environments and collaboration in special education.

With over 20 years in education, Ms. Martin has experience in K-12 special education, alternative education programs, and GED night schools. She collaborates with school divisions to enhance implementation of inclusive practices and manages VDOE initiatives related to special education. Her work emphasizes partnerships between agencies to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
