Thanasis Gimisis is a Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds academic appointments since 2000, progressing through roles including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently Full Professor since 2019. He leads the Organic Chemistry Laboratory (2023–present) and has held administrative roles such as Director of Division II (2019–2021) and active membership in numerous university committees.
