Gillian Russell

Prof Gillian Russell is a Professorial Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews, affiliated with the School of Philosophy, Anthropology and Film Studies. Her research focuses on the philosophy of logic and language, epistemology, and formal systems. She has published extensively on topics such as logical consequence, Hume’s Law, and feminist logic. Her work critiques exceptionalism in logic and explores the epistemological foundations of logical systems.
