Dr Gillian Prue is a Professor and Reader in Chronic Illness within the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. Her research focuses on cancer prevention, symptom reduction, and palliative care, with a strong emphasis on exercise as medicine. She leads international studies such as the INTERVAL-MCRPC trial and the PROPEL prehabilitation initiative, and has secured significant funding from organizations including NIHR and EU-H2020.
