Dr. Gideon Sappor is an Associate Professor (Teaching) in Early Years and Primary Education at University College London's Institute of Education (IOE), Department of Learning and Leadership. He joined UCL in 2011 as a student and became staff in 2016, drawing on over 11 years of primary school teaching experience. His research focuses on motivational and affective factors in academic performance, cultural influences on learning, and BAME attainment.
