Giannina Rita Iannotti is a Research Staff Scientist at the Center for Biomedical Imaging (CIBM) and Coordinator of the Clinical NeuroCentre in Geneva (HUG-NeuroCentre) since 2022, affiliated with the University of Geneva and University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). Previously, she earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Geneva in 2018 and conducted five years of postdoctoral research at HUG.

Dr. Iannotti specializes in clinical and cognitive neuroscience using multimodal neuroimaging techniques including EEG, fMRI, and TMS. Her research focuses on epilepsy characterization, brain connectivity in chronic stroke, and pre-surgical functional localization for neurosurgical patients, with emphasis on artifact correction and advanced solution development.
As Clinical NeuroCentre Coordinator, she facilitates HUG clinical researcher collaborations and manages a neuro-pathology research unit. At CIBM, she develops 7 Tesla MRI protocols to advance clinical applications and improve patient outcomes.
