Dr. Ghada Elayat is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Sciences at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Technology's Natural Sciences department. She serves as Programme Leader for the BSc Medical Science programme and leads modules such as BMS2125, BMS2515, and BMS3326. Her teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering a wide range of modules including BMS1014, BMS3136, and multiple postgraduate courses like BMS4217 and BMS4997.
Her research focuses on histopathology techniques (light microscopy, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization) and tumor microenvironment dynamics, particularly angiogenesis in bladder cancer. She has also explored breast cancer biology, apocrine metaplasia, and chronic inflammation's role in periodontal health.
